Welcome to GMAC

The Greater Memphis Area Chapter of the American Association of Nurses was chartered in 1973 as a non-profit organization and is one of the oldest chapters of AACN. The national chapter was established in 1969. It is the largest specialty nursing organization. National and international chapters can be located at http://www.aacn.org. Memphis is one of ten in Region 11, which includes the states Kentucky and Tennessee.

• The Scholarship Fund will be awarded in November and covers the period from the previous January.
• Membership is at 123. They represent a cross section of Memphis. Thanks to all for helping with recruiting and getting the word out about our chapter!
